Renovation - completed 2022

This Barwon Heads project is an addition onto an existing Edwardian weatherboard cottage on the river. Unusually, the cottage is located at the rear of the property, and thus the addition becomes the new street frontage. The addition has been split into two pavilions, with a central courtyard tucked behind facing back onto the original house. Addressing the street, a double storey pitched pavilion takes formal cues from the original house, with a low slung single level brick and glass pavilion sitting behind and creating a permeable link between new and old.
