Perched on a steep hill, this is a full time residence with frontline ocean views stretching from Barwon Heads to Cape Schanck. Set within a landscape of thick dune scrub, the house is largely obscured from the street. The clean lined concrete and blackened timber design is arranged over three levels, maximising the potential for southerly views whilst allowing for a variety of interconnected internal and external living spaces within the overall envelope. A large sheltered north facing courtyard sits behind the upper level living volume, offering protection from the elements and allowing views through the house to the ocean horizon beyond.
